The Kyoto event

So earlier this week we (demi and me) were at a convention she had a meet and greet with some of her fans which in turn was a lot of people. Which she didn't know was that she was really popular, so she had a table set up and I sat off to the background since it had literally nothing to do with me. She smiled and laughed and from time to time she looked over at me and I would smile and nod at her.

They asked so many questions about her work. What motivated her to make a manga, why did she do a webtoon, what advice can she give someone.

She gave them this super sweet and romantic answer which I was like awww, the answer included me which then she made me come sit with her, and the others which in my honest opinion was nerve wracking, it's weird normally I dont worry about it but this felt different (mainly different languages). So I sat there looking lost like a puppy.

One person asked me if I did all the cover work and i am like yea do and people were like oooo.

Then came the questions about her webtoons and manga.

One person asked about why she gave it the name she did, and she said it was off of a story I had wrote she really liked the title and decided to use it. Which means that I cant use the title anymore.

Another person asked her the chapters seemed personal and well emotional why is that. Demi hesitated then looked at me and I was like do what you want and she came clean and said that it was about her life, and her adventures. Everyone murmured and clapped for this.

One lady was like so if the main female is her then who is male lead, and she was like someone close to me. That I admire and love.

Then another person was like so in the latest chapter suite almost had a meltdown over something what was it. She told them you'll have to wait for the next chapter (which is out now).

One person was like so the guy next to you (me) helps with the art, and the pages what else do I work on. She was like suite....I mean cj. And boy did they love it so they are like so she is bunny, and he is suite this is great.

This brought on many more questions.

Like who is coyote then and why does he smoke so much if he it drives bumblebee his wife crazy. I answered with he does it secretly and does it away from the house.

Another person asked why is suite so in love with ladybug and where is she. Demi answered that one and went into great detail and basically ended with she is in america.

Another person was like who is beetle and why isn't he in any chapters his name is mentioned and is never seen but ladybug is there. Demi and me answered that question ladybug (lovebug) is living with her fiancee (beetle).

One person was like in a early chapter suite was in the hospital and we got to see the outcome of emotional and toll on bunny, coyote and bumblebee. What was it really like Demi held my hand and gave an answer. About how she cried and couldn't sleep because I was hospitalized.

One person brought up a chapter that suite and bunny went on a vacation to america and wound up in the same state as ladybug and beetle, did we run into them. We both were like no we didn't.

Then a person asked why is it that bunny has a strong hatred for ladybug. Demi explained it as a possessive thing, she destroyed suite and crushed his mind (emotions in real life.) She made suite unable to love anyone else other then her. Bunny loves suite but can never truly have him. She tried to keep it close to the webtoon as possible.

One person was like there was a whole chapter dedicated to the summerhouse in niigata and how suite played the guitar for bunny, is it true that he plays the guitar. I chuckled nervously and was like yes I really do play the guitar, and I do sing with her. Someone had a guitar with them for a cosplay they did and I played it for them I played a song I wrote called "lost lovers" which demi wrote the lyrics for. We played the first verse which everyone loved.

The whole thing went good for her she told them about the meaning and theories that she read in the comments and about her daily life.

One Person pointed out that we are both wearing fitbits and matching bracelets. She blushed and looked down at the table and I smiled. I told them that when we were in California and we were at this small shop and they had couple bracelets I bought her the female bracelet and she bought me the male bracelet and we have been wearing them ever since.

So yea it was fun being there.

So In April we will be in L.A. for a comic con that demi will be modeling and having a booth for her mangas, and we will be at a hollywood party(?).

May we will be in Tokyo for another comic con where she will be doing another booth and I will be selling our Tshirts which we started doing.

June we will be in Egypt(?) For my birthday

July she will be in New York for a meet and greet and a modeling workshop and I will be in Washington for a wedding and to clear up some stuff.

August we will both be back at work.
