So our first night in L.A. was amazing. We pretty much sat by the beach the entire time. I took her to my hometown and we got to see some of my friends that I havent seen in a while. We pretty much spent the whole Valentine's day either on the water or in some shop. Let's just say she is now a Californian like myself, it was really funny really we spent 8 hours going from PCB to L.A., when we got off of the flight first thing she did was buy a hat, I mean why a hat. We have so many hats we didnt need anymore of them. A good friend of mine met up with us, and pretty much him and his fiancee? I mean idk what she is to him, took us to our old hunting ground. We even Shot up to Sacrememto to visit another one of friends who took a liking to demi, which made her uncomfortable and made us laugh. I even got tested in this japanese restaurant that gave us free food since her and the owner were from the same neighborhood.
Then we went to the ocean where we pretty much sat with our feet in the water and I sketched her when she wasnt looking. Then we went from the ocean to Sacramento where we had dinner with my friend and then we drove back to L.A. where she pretty much fell in love with this ice cream shop where we spent over 80 dollars at cause she wanted to try out all the flavors. Like 80 dollars for like 13 flavors, then she complained about how cold it was. Then we took her to in n out burger like my favorite restaurant which she fell in love with and we bought 4 shirts (I own 1 already) just for friends back in Kyoto.
To end the whole day we spent it laying on the grass watching the sunset and laughing about how great the day was.
Though she complained that Italy was better but she just liked being wherever I was. Cause shes weird like that.
We been in PCB exploring the weirdness of FL state. I can tell she doesnt really like it there because of the cultural difference but I am glad she is at least feeling better.
Coming to the west coast again is where her heart is cause of how diverse the cities are and how she loves to hear me speak Japanese like all day (which I did because ya know she loves hearing me mess up). She was upset about how expensive stuff was so I am buying this whole trip but 80 dollars on ice cream I was like that wasnt needed.
We smiled all day and she got to see my background and see what I am like when I am unwound, and relaxing. We both agreed no work while we are here and that we will just focus on enjoying the time we have together because we never get to stop and talk about what it is we want out of life.
What makes us tick and why is it we are here, like she tries to pick my brain and tries to get me to open up more, and I pick hers and get her to tell me what bugs her. It always ends up with her crying on my shoulder because, it gets deep real fast.
There were a couple of times that my friend did bug us cause he wanted to hang out and we were like we work 6 days a week, we live in two different countries our last trip was new years and that was in Italy, Rome we kind of want to talk. But ya know we havent seen each other since high school. His neighbor took a liking to me though she told me she wanted to take me to this cool store that she thinks I might like and then give me the whole cali experience which I stopped cause I was like I lived here I got this, which made even more ecstatic about taking me out somewhere. Which I joked with demi about how is it that the one girl I want doesnt want me but all these other girls do. I mean everyone is the same but I'm like yea yet I can't keep lovebug for no more then months at a time.
Anyway we have to go see so many people while we are here and we are going to be in Vegas/Henderson so I can find my old high school gang. So ends our first day in California.
So we decided to get sketchbooks and use them as travel logs cause she wants to capture the beauty of life, which I support so I decided to give it a try, so far we captured the beauty ofJapan, Italy, Rome, Male, maldives, sydney,Brisbane, and PCB and Miami. We captured some of California, and we even caught the airplane. Its funny really though my heart can never be hers I like being by her side
